Speaking of marching I need to get my rolls and other rudiments right (at least, I think marching bands utilise rolls most)... when I get to a certain speed, they just begin to mess up because I tense my arms up WAY too much.

Yeah well I got forced into band class...never again. Never knew how to play, never was taught, and was put into the advanced class, (big help there, huh?). I always hated it because not only that, but I felt like a geek (no offence lol).

When you say band class are you talking more one person one instrument (or orchestral, but I don't think that word fits), or something more along the lines of drummer, lead guitarist, rhythm guitarist, bassist and vocalist sort of thing?
